Knees, Lower Back, Neck & Shoulders Short Courses

The knees, lower back, and neck and shoulders are common problem areas that may cause chronic or intermittent pain, which might preclude you from participating in a regular class. These Short Courses manage problems, or resolve issues in these target areas — not only to improve well being, but as a gateway to full participation in other classes.

Students with back problems will learn the sequence from the 2009 Spine Journal research study, in which Lois Steinberg was a co-investigator. The scientific study proved that Iyengar Yoga reduces back pain and its associated side effects. Enroll anytime.

Prerequisites

None. These classes fill up quickly, so don’t delay!

Registration

  1. New students: save time by completing the registration form in advance.
  2. Come 15 minutes early to class.
  3. You may sign-up for the entire 4-week short course and receive a discount, or attend on a drop-in basis.
  4. Wear a t-shirt and shorts or tights, be prepared to have bare feet, and come with an empty stomach.
  5. Please do not wear perfume or scented deodorant products. (Thank You!)
